Cripple Creek has converted the hard, asphalt tennis courts to a soft synthetic clay har-tru surface for the pleasure of our members and their guests. This surface was chosen as the official clay court for the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island.

The play of the new courts is safer, giving super traction without foot lock, and more comfortable, cushioning joints for low body stress and decreased player fatigue. Players will have the advantages of the feel, bounce and sliding characteristics of natural clay.

For your safety and the maintenance of the clay courts, PROPER FOOTWEAR is essential. You may only play wearing smooth soled tennis shoes; ridged running shoes or cross-training shoes are not permitted as they tear up the surface of the court. We appreciate your cooperation in wearing proper tennis shoes and attire and hope you enjoy the new courts.

RESERVING COURT TIME

• Call the golf shop to reserve time: 539-1446 ext. 1 Register at the golf shop to pickup the key for the courts and any information needed for court use.
• Children 12 and under must be supervised by an adult.
• ONLY SMOOTH SOLED TENNIS SHOES are permitted.
• Courts are CLOSED for an hour at noon for maintenance and after heavy rain until they are allowed to dry out and be properly groomed.
